Introduction to autistic masking
Masking is used by autistic individuals as a survival mechanism and a way to protect themselves from anxiety. While it has some benefits, it can also be exhausting and lead to burnout and shutdowns.
This FREE presentation will help you understand what masking is, how your child uses is and how to help them stop detrimental masking. The information given will apply to children of all ages.
The session will include a presentation, Q&A session and a follow up email with links and resources on the topic.
The session will be recorded. No diagnosis is required to attend this session.
